First day: Tour to the Sacred Valley of the Incas

This day you will start your day with the tour to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, tour that will start early  in the morning, when probably your tour operator pick you up at your hotel, the first place to visit is Pisaq with its typical craft market. You will also visit the archaeological  site of Pisaq with its picturesque terraces cultivated in the mountains. Then you will go to Urubamba , believe me the view is fantastic, you will see the real beauty of the flora and fauna along the path. Continuing with the tour we will go to the Fortress of Ollantaytambo also known as the living Inca city. Finally you will go to the train station of Ollantaytambo, to board the train to Aguas Calientes, where you will arrive and you can relax at the Hot Springs of Aguas Calientes. Finally you will overnight in a hotel of Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu Town).

Second day: Tour to Machu Picchu “The Lost City of the Incas”

After getting up very early and having breakfast, you will go up to your dreamed trip. Ready to discover  the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu?. So at first you will take a bus up to the inca citadel. Once there you will be able to appreciate the spectacular sunrise of this wonder. Followed by an excursion with a guide through the citadel of Machu Picchu. For 2 hours, on the way, you will visit the most important precincts of this city such as:

  • the Main Square,
  • the Circular Tower,
  • the Sacred Solar Clock,
  • the Royal Rooms,
  • the Temple of the Three Windows
  • Cemeteries.

Concluded in tour of the citadel of Machupicchu optionally you can do the trekking to the summit of   Huaynapicchu or Machu Picchu Mountains. This will take you a few hours, in which you can enjoy the scenery and take some breathtaking views.
